AFS: Shake Style Cat Head Basket w/ Dona Nazarenko

$1781 day.Ê 9:00am Ð 4:00 pm.Ê Tuition $130. Member Tuition $105. Materials fee $48. A graceful basket reproduction of a popular style of the Shaker baskets we see in books and magazines today. When these baskets were made, they were woven over a wooden mold. This basket gets its name from the points on the bottom which can be seen when turned upside down and look like the ears and head of a cat. Turn the basket back over and it lands on its woven feet. This basket is appropriate for basket weavers of all levels. Dimensions: 8_ wide x 9_ long x 10_ high with handle.
