Blacksmithing 103: Coat Rack with Russ Jennings. 1 day. 9am-4pm. Tuition $140. Member Tuition $120. Materials fee $25.
This final intro level class uses all of the forging techniques taught in 101 & 102, and with larger scale items. Students will be provided with a shovel “blank” to be folded and riveted. Then, students will forge a fireplace poker with decorative handle. The shovel and handle will be riveted together.
NOTE: Hard shoes and long pants are required for student’s safety.
