The Town Board holds its monthly Agenda meeting the 1st Monday of each month at 6:00 PM.

The Town Board meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM.

All meetings will be held virtually via Zoom through January 15th, 2022. Please see the Public Notice below for more information.

Re: All public meetings shall be conducted remotely/virtually, via Zoom, through January 15th, 2022.

 

 

Please be advised, effective immediately, all Town Board meetings shall be held remotely, via Zoom.

Due to the escalating levels of the COVID-19 Delta variant throughout Warren County and the Town of Lake Luzerne, the recent possible exposure of two (2) Town of Lake Luzerne employees to COVID-19 and now confirmation of a positive COVID-19 test result from a worker with a presence in the Town municipal building, all Town Board meetings shall be held remotely/virtually, via Zoom, through January 15th, 2022.

This temporary change will reduce the need for congregation at public meetings while the Delta variant is prevalent and will prevent further community spread of COVID-19, while ensuring public business will continue in an open and transparent local government.

The Town municipal building shall remain open for daily business, with COVID-19 protocols in place. However, all in-person public congregation shall be suspended during this time, with all public meetings being held and accessible remotely/virtually via Zoom.

On September 2nd, 2021, New York Governor Hochul signed legislation (S.50001A/A.40001) extending virtual access to public meetings under New York State’s Open Meetings Law, which allows New Yorkers to virtually participate in local government meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Town Board of Lake Luzerne takes this action pursuant to the above law, with the health, safety, and welfare of the employees and the residents of the Town of Lake Luzerne being paramount.

Further be it Resolved, to ensure complete Transparency in Town Government, the Tentative Budget shall be published immediately on the Town of Lake Luzerne website and made available to the public by the Town Clerk, and

 

Further, be it Resolved, from this date forward, the annual Tentative Budget shall be made available to the Public on the date of filing by the Budget Officer with the Town Clerk.
