Mission Statement

  • To coordinate. protect and preserve the local community office collection
  • To encourage historical research
  • To encourage the preservation of historic sites, structures, and suitable markings of such places
  • To encourage the gathering and dissemination of information concerning the history of the Town of Lake Luzerne and nearby communities
  • To continue acquiring, preserving, displaying and making available for study relics and other memorabilia relating the early and current history of the Town of Lake Luzerne and nearby community areas

The value of history is essential in identifying our past, exposing those critical skills of community development, between vital places to live and work, economic development features, engaging with citizens such as oral histories, leadership and legacies.
