Upcoming Events: All of our classes are open to anyone who would like to participate in them. Advanced Yoga Class, every Monday 8:45-9:45 the cost of the class is $10.00 or $45.00 for 5 classes. Gentle Yoga, every Monday 10:00-11:00 this class is for people new to yoga or those who are experiencing joint sensitivity. This class focuses on building strength and relaxation through warm ups and a mixed series of postures as well as incorporating a mini gentle flow. Cost for one class is $10.00 or $45.00 for 5 classes.
Zumba Gold: every Wednesday and Friday 9:00-10:00 the cost for one class is $5.00. Our instructor Kim Quay is a certified Zumba instructor and teaches at the YMCA in Glens Falls. T'AI CHI CHIH, class is every Friday, 10:15-11:30 each session is an eight week session and the cost for a session is $50.00. Accredited Instructor Judy Mirczak leads class instruction. She may be reached at 518-696-7022. Osteobusters Exercise Class, this new class will meet every Tuesday 9:00- 10:00 and Friday 10:00-11:00. Osteobusters exercise and education is a community-based program for older adults that encourage participants to take steps to build and maintain strong bones. It is presented in small group format and is led by trained peer volunteers under the direction of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Warren, Washington, and Hamilton counties. There is no cost to this class and we look forward to having you participate with us.
The next regular monthly meeting will start at the Lake Luzerne Town Hall during the winter months. The $40 dues are due at the January meeting.
