Hadley-Luzerne Historical Society presents "Railroads of Saratoga County".
Please join us in welcoming author, photographer and adjunct lecturer in transportation history at H.V.C.C. and SUNY Adirondack, Gino DiCarlo. Mr. DiCarlo is the author of "Trolleys of the Capital District", an historical perspective on the trolley systems that once canvassed the Capital District. His next book will feature the history of the Saratoga and Mt. McGregor Railroad.
It should be a very informative program. So please mark your calendars and join us on September 22, 2016.

The Lake Luzerne Pug Parade presents.... Pugs, Mugs and Pumpkin Party on September 25, 2016 from 10:00am to 3:00 pm.
The theme this year is "Mobs, Moonshine and Movies".
Please come a join us for this fun filled event that includes Pug Costume Contest , "My Pug has Talent" Contest, Fall Pumpkin/Gourd Decorating Contest, Awards, Pug Sidewalk Stroll, Free Photo Booth, Have a bite to eat at the Pug Cafe MC & DJ Chas Giknis of Absolute Sounds, vendors and much more.
Registration begins at 10 am.

Our guest speaker Howard Schaffer will share his perspective on and collection of political campaign memorabilia. He will give a review of antique and historical "political Americana" from American presidential campaigns from the late1800's thru today, featuring posters, old campaign buttons, broadsides and cornucopia of unusual mementos featuring the American presidency.
